SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH KICKS OFF SPACEX'S HISTORIC MISSION
Mission Highlights: During the mission, Dragon must
perform a series of complex tasks, each presenting significant technical
challenges (dates subject to change):
May 22/Launch Day: SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launches a Dragon spacecraft into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
May 23: Dragon orbits Earth as it travels toward the International Space Station.
May 24: Dragon’s sensors and flight systems are subjected to a
series of complicated tests to determine if the vehicle is ready to
berth with the space station; these tests include maneuvers and systems
checks in which the vehicle comes within 1.5 miles of the station.
May 25: NASA decides if Dragon is allowed to attempt berthing with
the station. If so, Dragon approaches. It is captured by station’s
robotic arm and attached to the station, a feat that requires extreme
precision.
May 25 - 31: Astronauts open Dragon’s hatch, unload supplies and fill Dragon with return cargo.
May 31: After approximately two weeks, Dragon is detached from the
station and returns to Earth, landing in the Pacific, hundreds of miles
west of Southern California. SpaceX
Dragon X Capsule Launch to the International Space Station
I am glad to see the private sector achieve success and keep America involved with the space station. The last shuttle flight left NASA without a ride. Cheers and Good Luck Dragon and hope you enjoyed the video.
The video begins with clips of the tail end of the George W. Bush administration, which kick-started the recession.
“On the day Barack Obama took office, America had already lost 4.4
million jobs — an economic disaster, the worst in a generation," states
the video's narrator. "Some said America's best days were behind us, and
like America, he dug deep, fought back and never lost faith in our
ability to meet the challenge.”
Obama will screen the video during two re-election rallies to be held
in Virginia and Ohio over the weekend, the latter of which is an
important voting state for politicians. As his campaign gains footing,
the Commander in Chief continues to brush off criticism from his
competitor, Mitt Romney. Aides for the potential Republican nominee blasted the president for eating dog meat as a child, and have released their own campaign video tiled Broken Promises, criticizing Obama's tenure over the last four years.

Lets take a look at the political spectrum in the United States
The Political Spectrum in the U.S.
Now we know the spectrum, how much of a distance is there between socialism, marxism and fascism? If socialism and the tenets of marxism permeate the teachings of black liberation theology, critical race theory and globalism, what can we expect when these teachings and ideals blend with the anarchic players in the environmental and anti-war left? We get Occupy Wall Street or New Black Panthers and race hustlers like Al Sharpton. We get class envy and attempts to even divide the sexes. The current leaders are allied with these saboteurs of the new left. Soros and the usual suspects fund, reward and idolize "activist" bombers like Brett Kimberlin and Bill Ayers. Terror and suppression and sedition. The ends justify the means.
Forward-History or hybrid?
Let's talk about the maneuvers in the United Nations such as the LOST Sea Treaty, Small Arms Treaty or talks of Global income taxes, global financial transaction taxes and more to fund your "global initiatives" and trample our sovereignty for the sake of your utopia. The current administration rules by executive fiat, parliamentary tricks and abuse of czars and agency. How constitutional is a continuing budget resolution and out of control debt? How constitutional is Obamacare? Lack of commerce is commerce? Taxes aren't punitive or tyrannical, they are just "boatloads of cash" like SCOTUS Justice Kagan says. Pardon me if you arent the party of the rich, spelled Mark Rich, and the party of corruption spelled Jon Corzine.
Traditional fascism is a great model for your deployment of attackwatch, truthteam2012 and the media control with media matters and think progress. FORWARD you frauds with fascist tendencies, now that is progressive.

Check out the following article from MPR and in particular the last commenter. The propaganda machine needs to place 'favorable' stories and comments in the complicit media. Here is another example of how the Leftists manufacture opinion and their reality.
=======================================================================
One of these days I'll learn to avoid the Facebook comments on posted news stories. Today, however, is not that day.
This week is the one-year anniversary of the devastating tornado in
north Minneapolis and it's pretty clear there remains -- in some
quarters -- a "serves 'em right" mentality that we likely wouldn't see
if the tornado had hit, say, south Minneapolis.
Take the Facebook comments on KSTP's story last night, for example. (LAST NIGHT)
A commenter writes:
I live in N. Mpls. It has not come back
and it will never come back. Things are worse here than ever. That's why
I'm getting out at the end of this month. People walk around with guns
sticking out of their waistbands. Random guys walk up to women asking
for money and refusing to leave. People try to just walk in your door. I
have lived here for over 7 years. We have had our ups and downs. This
is by far the worse. I don't even let my kids outside anymore bc you
cannot trust anyone. North is a lost cause. The few good people
remaining need to run away and let the bangers kill each other instead
of our kids.
Another writes...
So many areas face worse devastation and
get through it and move on. Why is it that N.Mpls is still being
mentioned and grumbling about the tornado? Everyone in the area needs to
get out and start cleaning up their homes and neighborhoods and stop
sitting around for freebies.
That's quite enough for Brigette Mengerson, a north Minneapolis resident who knows better:
I am disgusted by some of these comments. North Mpls lost a lot of
businesses that people depended on for wages. Many people lost their
place to live because of landlords who weren't properly insured and/or
let the homes go. Many homeowners are still stuck waiting for repairs
due to greedy battles with insurance companies and the city. This isn't
about looking for freebies- its about trying to recover with the little
means you had to begin with.
In the last year residents have supported each other through
community dinners, fundraisers, multi-media art receptions, support
groups and on going donations of food, clothing and furniture. We even
have a local resident who has a book signing party later this week.
Yesterday we broke ground on a new youth garden at 21st & Dupont.
Over 30 people came out to dig trenches, build raised beds, shovel and
haul dirt, etc. People got out of their cars and walked in from off the
streets to lend a hand in the development of this garden which will
provide healthy food and income for the youth who will be working the
garden and selling at our local farmers market.
North Mpls is not a lost cause- the residents past, present and
future deserve better than that sentiment. What may be a lost cause is
trying to change your perception of what all of North Mpls really is.
I challenge you to come out today, grab a shovel and meet those who
still have plenty of hope and determination for the successful growth
and rebuilding of North Mpls.

The city of Minneapolis as a whole has a higher crime rate than the average large US city, ranking around 30th in the approximately 400 large metropolitan areas in the nation
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, who publish crime maps of the city,
the highest concentration of violent crimes and property crimes are in
North Minneapolis, geographically the northwest of the city, the part of
Minneapolis north of I-394 and west of the Mississippi River Dangerous Areas of Minneapolis

Words and music by John Kay, Jerry Edmonton, Nick St. Nicholas and Larry Byrom
Once the religious, the hunted and wearyChasing the promise of freedom and hopeCame to this country to build a new visionFar from the reaches of kingdom and pope
Like good Christians, some would burn the witchesLater some got slaves to gather riches
But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands to court the wildBut she just patiently smiled and bore a child
To be their spirit and guiding light And once the ties with the crown had been brokenWestward in saddle and wagon it went
And 'til the railroad linked ocean to oceanMany the lives which had come to an end
While we bullied, stole and bought our a homelandWe began the slaughter of the red man But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands to court the wildBut she just patiently smiled and bore a childTo be their spirit and guiding light
The blue and gray they stomped itThey kicked it just like a dogAnd when the war was overThey stuffed it just like a hog
And though the past has it's share of injusticeKind was the spirit in many a wayBut it's protectors and friends have been sleepingNow it's a monster and will not obey
The spirit was freedom and justiceAnd it's keepers seem friendly and kindIt's leaders were supposed to serve the countryBut now they won't pay it no mind 'Cause the people got fat and grew lazy
Now their vote is like a meaningless jokeYou know they talk about law, about orderBut it's all just an echo of what they've been told
'Cause there's a monster on the looseIt's got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin' Our cities have turned into junglesAnd corruption is stranglin' the land
The police force is watching the peopleAnd the people just can't understand We don't know how to mind our own business'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us
Now we are fighting a war over thereNo matter who wins, you know we can't pay the cost 'Cause there's a monster on the looseIt's got our heads into the nooseAnd it just sits there watching
America where are you now?Don't you care about your sons and daughters?Don't you know we need you nowWe can't fight alone against the monster America where are you now?Don't you care about your sons and daughters?Don't you know we need you nowWe can't fight alone against the monster America where are you now?Don't you care about your sons and daughters?Don't you know we need you nowWe can't fight alone against the monster America where are you now?Don't you care about your sons and daughters?Don't you know we need you nowWe can't fight alone against the monsterAmerica

"Two years and two whacks of a champagne bottle after she first christened
it, First Lady Michelle Obama will on Saturday formally commission the
U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton, a ship she sponsored as part of her
Joining Forces initiative.
Obama will attend a ceremony on Coast Guard Island in Alameda,
Calif., marking the beginning of active service for the Stratton, the
White House announced. Officials said the vessel will patrol the
coastline and conduct missions necessary for national defense.
“As the ship’s sponsor, the First Lady will ceremonially give the
order to bring the ship to life, at which time the crew will board the
Stratton with much fanfare,” the White House said in a statement." Michelle Obama to Give Coast Guard Cutter Sober Send Off

"New Coast Guard ship has rust, holes in hull
The Associated Press
Tuesday, May 8, 2012 | 3:13 p.m.
When
a boat springs a leak, it's often the Coast Guard to the rescue. But
who rescues the Coast Guard when one its new ships does the same thing?
Capt.
Charles Cashin, who commands the Coast Guard's newest national security
cutter, the Stratton, said he called in engineers last month when his
crew discovered a trio of "pinholes" and a fourth hole "slightly smaller
than a golf ball" in the ship's hull.
Cashin said the four holes,
discovered in mid-April while the ship was working off the coast of Los
Angeles, have been patched for now but the Stratton soon will head to a
dry dock for permanent repairs.
"The intent is to get out of the water," Cashin said. "We are literally just waiting for a contract."
The
holes and other spots of rust on the hull are unusual, given the ship's
age. The Coast Guard took delivery in September and Cashin and his crew
put it in operation in October. The ship is based in Alameda, Calif.
The Stratton is third new, 418-foot ships acquired as part of the Coast Guard's efforts to modernize its aging fleet. Cmdr.
Chris O'Neil, a Coast Guard spokesman in Washington, said engineers
aren't yet sure what why the ship is already having problems with rust
and holes but they have concluded it is not a design problem in ship
that cost the Coast Guard about $500 million. Similar problems have not
been found in the fleet's two other ships of the same class.
Permanent
repairs are likely to take four to six weeks, O'Neil said. He added
that the Coast Guard is in contact with the ship's builder, Huntington
Ingalls. The ship was constructed by Ingalls Shipbuilding of Pascagoula,
Miss.
Beci Brenton, a company spokeswoman, declined to comment, pending further study and testing by the Coast Guard's engineers.
While he waits for repairs, Cashin said the Stratton is seaworthy.
"I am very confident in the safety of the ship and the crew," Cashin said."
The following AP article is surely the next big story in the MSM covering the #waronwomen Wait, Harry Reid isn't a Republican so I will have to blog about it.
Democrat Senator Harry Reid is a very powerful man, the Senate Majority Leader. Reid's former aide NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko has a problem with the nomination to a NEW term on the Nuclear Regularory Commission. A republican commissioner Kristine L. Svinicki made claims of bullying and intimidation against him. Highly qualified, her job performance was never questioned and she is the only female on the 5 person commission and one of 2 Republicans. Retribution? Maybe, but bad optics at a minimum. No backing from the feminists. Is there fission in the sisterhood?
President
Barack Obama nominated Kristine L. Svinicki for a new term on the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Tuesday despite objections from Senate
Majority Leader Harry Reid. Svinicki has been caught in a dispute
over NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko, a former Reid aide who has been
accused of intimidation and bullying. Svinicki has served on the NRC
since 2008. In December, she and other commission members told Congress
that Jaczko had created a tense workplace and that women felt especially
threatened. Svinicki, a nuclear engineer and former Senate aide,
is one of two Republicans and the only woman on the five-member
commission. Jaczko, a Democrat, has called the accusations
"categorically untrue." Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., called for Svinicki's prompt confirmation. Reid, D-Nev., has said previously that he opposed her nomination. His office declined to comment Tuesday. Republican
lawmakers have been pressuring the White House to renominate Svincki
and have expressed dismay that her job appeared in jeopardy rather
than's Jaczko's. McConnell called Svinicki "one of the world's
leading experts on nuclear safety" and said she has served with
distinction on the commission for four years. Seven GOP senators
who serve on the Senate Environment Committee wrote to Sen. Barbara
Boxer, D-Calif., the panel's chairwoman, calling for quick action on
Svinicki's nomination. Her current term expires June 30. "I hope
we can come to an agreement that assures urgent action on this matter,
especially given that the White House has said we need an NRC that is
`functioning effectively' and that the president doesn't want a `break
in service," said Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., the panel's senior
Republican. Boxer's office could not immediately be reached for comment. Inhofe
and other Republicans said Jaczko, who served on the commission before
being promoted by Obama to chairman, did not have a Senate hearing on
his nomination as chairman in 2009. The Nuclear Energy Institute, an industry lobbying group, applauded Svinicki's nomination to a new term. "As
a nuclear engineer with exceptional technical knowledge and extensive
experience as a policy adviser in the federal government, her
qualifications are self-evident," NEI president Marvin Fertel said in a
statement. "Beyond that, Commissioner Svinicki has served ably and
consistently in fulfilling the NRC's mandate to ensure the safe
operation of the nation's nuclear energy facilities."

Update 05/21/2012
Embattled Head of Nuke Agency to Step Down
The head of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will resign once a successor is confirmed to run the nuclear safety agency. NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko said in a statement Monday that he plans
to continue efforts to ensure public safety "in a different forum." His resignation comes after fellow NRC commissioners publicly
described Jaczko as acting as a bully. And Jaczko's announcement comes
less than two weeks after Senate Environment and Public Works Committee
staff members were told of a pending NRC inspector general's report that
expanded on the allegations that Jaczko was bullying staff. were. Last
month, Jaczko "categorically" denied that he had been aggressive
particularly against women.
Harry Reid wont receive scrutiny for his defense of Jaczko or the retribution on Kristine L. Svinicki for her claims of sexual harassment. Harry Reid's rule of the Senate, with no intention of passing a budget, highlights the main stream media's bias in coverage.

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Media reports say the B.C. hang glider pilot accused of withholding evidence in the death of a young woman allegedly swallowed a memory card.
Citing provincial court documents, several media outlets say William (Jon) Orders attempted to obstruct justice by gulping down the digital card that may contain evidence around how Lenami Godinez-Avila died.
The
27-year-old was celebrating an anniversary with her boyfriend by taking
flight in B.C.'s Fraser Valley on Saturday when she dropped from the
glider and plummeted 300 metres.
The reports say the memory card may have come from an onboard camera that contains video of the fatal flight.
Orders
has been held in custody since being arrested Monday on the obstruction
of justice charge, but RCMP Cpl. Tammy Hollingsworth wouldn't comment
on the unusual move to hold him behind bars.
The 50-year-old appears in Chilliwack provincial court Wednesday for a show cause hearing.
Police have recovered the video card from a camera that may have
recorded events leading to the death of a woman who fell from a
hang-glider in British Columbia, Canada
Lenami Godinez-Avila, 27, tumbled out of her harness only seconds after
take-off. Witnesses said the young woman fell 300m to her death.
Hang-glider pilot Jon Orders has been held in custody following
allegations that he swallowed the video card that recorded the incident.
Police said in court that x-rays showed the card was inside Orders'
body.
"We have processes in place in order to try and extract what's been on
the card that will not be further discussed at the moment," said
Constable Tracy Wolbeck.
Jason Warner, safety officer for the Hang Gliders and Paragliders
Association of Canada, said Orders told him he knew something was wrong
almost immediately and tried desperately to hang on to the woman, who
clung to his body and then slipped down his legs, taking one of Orders'
shoes with her Hang-glider pilot eats video card of accident
The debate of Left vs Right positions and victory in election 2012 just cannot work without accounting for the pull of the newly fashionable and self described Libertarians. The powers have changed the game again. The election is not a single board game of checkers. The line or Republican-Democrat spectrum isn't straight and 2D, it is three dimensional and built for mass appeal. The new coalition of the Left are hardly the democrats you have known in your lifetime, but is rather a dabbling in anarchy disguised as left-libertarian for acceptance, marxism as democratic socialism for fairness and new age mysticism for a "morality" in their arguments and to attract the young and disillusioned voters. Their messages and argument are far from complete and rarely constitutional. The ideas only have to be a soundbite in length for the sympathetic and far left of center main steam media for a gut reaction and emotional appeal. The information examined is devoid of math and reason. It is political song and dance To steal the phrase "It is not logical".
Politics and Game Strategy- Star Trek Chess
Once we realize this election is a 3D chess game, we just have to examine the pieces and purposes. A great example of a pawn who possesses all the traits of a revolutionary poser of the left is Anthony Kapel "Van" Jones. Much has been written about the former RED Green Jobs Czar, but in the video that follows, you will see how ecology and marxism has been blended with a new age spirituality or mysticism for cult appeal.
Anthony "Van" Jones in 'Fierce Light-When Spirit Meets Action 2008 Anthiny Kapel "Van" Jones at wiki The populist appeal and surge of numbers of supporters for Ron Paul, a right-Libertarian considered a Republican by the press and American People, is a vote for overthrow of the GOP while the other R candidates were in the mode of "reform"
6 Kinds of Libertarianism as described by a Ron Paul Supporter
The left-libertarians easily ally with the New Left eco-marxists and social democrats. the only question remains for the next election is which way will the right-libertarians vote. They seem to embrace the spirit of anarchy, how about the "fairness" of socialism?
Synthesis of the New Left- The Time is Right
The new left shouldn't be labelled as socialists, liberals or marxists. Leftist is a name that will do just fine.We need to get past the semantics of what they should be called and focus on the message of decolonialism, deindustrialism and the other hidden tenets of marxism in their message.
Straight from the Communist Manifesto:
1. Expropriation of landed property, and the use of land rents to defray state expenditure
2. A vigorously graded income tax
3. Abolition of the right of inheritance
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigres and rebels
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly
6. Centralization of the means of transport in the hands of the State
7. Increase of national factories and means of production,
cultivation of uncultivated land, and improvement of cultivated land in
accordance with a general plan
8. Universal and equal obligation to work; organization of industrial armies, especially for agriculture
9. Agriculture and urban industry to work hand-in-hand, in such a way
as, by degrees, to obliterate the distinction between town and country
10. Public and free education of all children. Abolition of factory
work for children in its present form. Education and material
production to be combined.
A few months ago, the Oakland Police Department had a Federal Monitor ordered in with the threat of a Federal Takeover of the local police department for "reforms". The Associated Press article starts with the following:
Note Angle and Sparks of Explosive Object-Screen Capture
"Progress on reforms has stalled at the Oakland Police Department,
according to a federal monitor who also said the agency failed to
properly prepare for last year's Occupy protests. The quarterly
report released Monday criticized the department's reaction to the
protests as an "overwhelming military-type response." Former U.S.
Marine Scott Olsen was critically injured Oct. 25 when he was hit in the
head with a beanbag round fired by an Oakland SWAT team member, the
report noted. "We have viewed many official and unofficial video
clips of the Occupy Oakland-related incidents," the report said. "These
recordings lead us to ask additional questions as the level of force
that was used by OPD officers, and whether that use of force was in
compliance with the department's use of force policies." "The findings could bring the department one step closer to a federal court takeover." Court monitor: Oakland police reforms stagnating

Some Examples with ranges given:
Video of Scot Olsen at Occupy Oakland- Even their selective edit shows too much
In my blog I address the claims by Occupy Oakland that Scott Olsen was shot by the Oakland Police or Sheriff's department with a tear-gas canister in the face. Occupy Oakland had a NASA analyst examine aerial footage of the event to verify their canister theory. Attack on Scott Olsen at Occupy Oakland
Before and After
Occupy Oakland has the following link: Aerial footage shows gas canister hitting Scott Olsen in head
"I showed the video to former NASA photo analyst Michael Rivero, to see if he thought the low trajectory of the tear gas canister fired at Olsen shows that the attack was intentional.
Rivero is an imaging expert with experience with NASA probes, and so
is expert at assessing height, angle and object size from photos taken
from various distances and at different angles.
Rivero told me:
I agree the low angle indicates the shot was aimed at Scott.
This is a favorite trick of the Israelis to kill people while pretending it was an accident.
For background on the use of tear gas in Israel, see this." ========================================================================
