Poverty of the Soul

At this point, you should have a glimpse of your beloved Democratic Party. Your parents or grandparents wouldnt recognize this party of today. You will say to yourself, I am not that extreme, they dont represent me. But they do. The coalition gathered in the last few election cycles for the left to maintain and gain more power has lurched far leftwards. Meet your second cousins the marxists and anarchists and social labor. A left of center media doesn't help with your impressions. The one sided coverage of who these people are and their funding is laughable. Rolling Stone - The Occupy Wall Street Propaganda Machine

Fashion- Making a Statement

I have spent my time digging into the coalition and have left a few things to follow in my blogs and youtube channel  The infiltration by the fringe of the union and political leadership of the left should alarm you. I mention fabian socialism and it was denied, only to hear tired arguments about the "British Elite" and retread 60's Revolutionary jargon. There is a ever growing crack in the Liberty Bell, and the fissure seems to veer left.

Global Warming, When Birdbrains Can't Show Their Math

Surely the left will understand my 50 percent tax on apple products to subsidize greener industries like carrier pigeon. The pigeon would just glide on the huge thermals of  #Global Warming, caused by iphones. My new tax will make the price necessarily skyrocket and the pigeons too. Can I have my loan guarantee now?

Global Warming, it's for the birds.

An Inconvenient Cartoon

It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.

"This was always about power and money, not science.  Here’s a little data crunching from one of the great cathedrals of global warming alarmism, the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit – which was also the source of the “Climagate” emails that revealed much of the global warming movement was based on deliberate fraud.  As reported by the UK Daily Mail:
The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.
The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.
Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997."

Maybe you should just learn to #Occupy your time

Yes you say you favor a free market with heavy regulations and see no contradictions or issues of efficiencies or world competitiveness in your approach. Now we lack a free market and you already have your heavy regulation  You demand more. You claim that Wall Street drove the country into the ground,

It was your neighbors that quit paying their mortgages (1 in 5 strategic default ) that started this to unravel. People so levered up with debt to live the life they think they DESERVE, not one they earned. Ask Wall Street for a government backed loan and they will deliver. That is what they do. Now buy a house with no money down, then take out a Home Equity Loan on a padded appraisal. . You just had to watch all the house flipping shows to know this was going to be a disaster. Yes, your big government and regulators caused this. I am glad you are so insightful as to ask them for a lot more.

Dodd, Pelosi, Frank and Reid were just some of the big name Dems that had regulation and oversight of Wall Street even before the collapse. They not only watched, they benefited with VIP mortgages. How does the Democratic party really feel about Wall Street. Christopher Dodd headed the Banking Committee and was in charge of reform. How much banking did he really learn as  "friends of Mozilo" They had the Dodd Frank bill as a fix which makes no mention of too big to fail, and actually created even larger banks.

GM also got a bailout and all the Union members now get big bonuses, while 20 percent of America is out of work. GM still owes the the taxpayer billions.  Since they donate and support Obama and your cause I can see why they are above scrutiny. What about Franklin Raines and Fannie and Freddie and the Democrats direct responsibility for the Sub Prime Crisis?  You guessed it. Blame George Bush.

If your head just didn't occupy your ass this would be a better place for us all.

Open letter to MN Viking's owner Ziggy Wilf

Mr. Ziggy Wilf

Mr Ziggy Wilf, my hunch is you have a really good FICO score and would be able to get a better deal on a loan for a stadium.  Our new Governor spent too much and we just lost our AAA rating. Surely as a smart businessman you know that isn't a good sign. So let's stay positive.

Imagine the sense of accomplishment you will feel when you sit in your luxury box and it has that new stadium smell. Nice right? And All yours. I even thought of a name for your stadium that will have Jerry Jones in Dallas fit to be hog tied. ZIGGY'S STARDUST STADIUM I know, exciting right? So it's hard to sleep now that images of mirror balls are dancing in your head. So call your banker and setup the loan at record low rates. You might even get a free toaster.

Thanks.

The NFL- A Role Model for Society and Business

I cant wait to use 1.2 billion of taxpayer money for the Vikings stadium so taxpayers are guaranteed to lose money. After all, the NFL is a stable and well regulated industry. Now, if they had a history of; labor strife or work stoppage, continued charges of racism, sexism or sexual abuse, drug use and abuse, connections to organized crime, weapons violations and any other problems like that I might understand your concern. Nothing like a solid  and stable industry to invest in.

Mind you, the Vikings are highly rated, gaining an eye popping 0 and 4 rating by "Superbowl", an industry standards measurement. I just admire the fact that the players are willing to show up and play some of the plays hard, for such little money. They just need a hand up, not a handout.

Public Unions are Antithetical to the concept of public service

Union jobs are on the decline for decades now, all the while productivity per worker has continually increased in this country. So the unions cant be productive enough to justify the higher wage. If an auto company opens a factory down south in a non union shop, the workers pay seems in line with their high productivity to actually benefit the company and the worker. Instead of the emotional appeal of buy American, make the best in terms of cost and quality and I will naturally seek it out as a consumer.

The private sector is the only side to compete, however, required to continually innovate or boost productivity or cease to exist. So a public sector "industry" that is controlled by unions, with no measure of efficiency, no need to compete in price or productivity and still uses a benefit system that failed and bankrupted more than a few companies in the private sector is contemptible  to a private sector employee earning less in the same job but competes for their job everyday.

F.D.R. Warned Us “It is impossible to bargain collectively with the government.”
Pattern Bargaining  Pattern bargaining is a process in labour relations, where a trade union gains a new and superior entitlement from one employer and then uses that agreement as a precedent to demand the same entitlement or a superior one from other employers

Public workers pay to add work time, costing state pensions      "Air Time"  The practice, called buying "air time," lets state, municipal and school employees pay to add up to five years to their work history so they are eligible to retire and collect a lifetime pension. Workers already eligible for retirement can buy extra years to boost a pension by up to 25%.

Liberals even oppose the right to work

A right to work, how dare they give you a right to work, correct liberals? You don't like individual rights, although the whole country is founded on them. I have posted on the public sector union charade, I think a focus on the myth that progressive or liberal even has a place in a country founded on individual liberties is in order..

Try to micromanage and restrict my freedoms and behavior through your tyranny of consensus and doublespeak in your misguided attempt to turn this country into a social democracy. "And to the republic for which it stands", I will always stand behind the freedoms in this democratic republic, guaranteed in the constitution. They aren't renegotiable..They aren't variable. They are individual rights. If you don't honor your pledge, we cannot have liberty, and justice, for all. Where does your liberal collectivism fit into a nation of individual liberties, under the pursuit of happiness or is the commerce clause really that encompassing? Maybe Jefferson or Hamilton overlooked the group dynamic? No they didn't. Other progressives like Marx, Engels, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot seem to embrace your ideas. Nothing better than being a comrade, unless you are a party member, then it is a step up in equality. Workers of the world unite. Your intellectual and moral positions ring hollow
