Carter & Mondale Smear President Trump, push conspiracy theories

From CSPAN:

Historian Jon Meacham moderated a discussion with former President Jimmy Carter and former Vice President Walter Mondale on human rights hosted by the Carter Center at a resort in Leesburg, Virginia. During the discussion, the former president and vice president talked about the importance of human rights and American foreign policy as a way to promote democratic ideals around the world. The two men also commented on President Trump, with President Carter saying President Trump was illegitimate and only elected with interference from Russia, and Vice President Mondale saying President Trump had psychiatric issues. The panel was introduced by Jason Carter, the former president’s grandson and a former Democratic state senator in Georgia.

From WaPo

LEESBURG, Va. — They looked like two old guys on a park bench, Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale, their canes resting nearby, sitting onstage talking about human rights before an audience of old friends.

Then Carter, 94, and Mondale, 91, started kicking butt.

The 39th president said he believes President Trump actually lost the 2016 election: “He was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf.” He also said Trump’s immigration policies “send a disgraceful signal around the world” that the United States stands for “torture and kidnapping of little children.”

Mondale, who was Carter’s vice president, blasted Trump for being a “cheerleader” for the “right-wing surge” of authoritarian leadership around the world. He said he was “hateful” in a way he’d never seen before. He suggested that Trump had “psychological problems” and said, “he’s got something deep in him that is detestable.”

As the rhetoric unexpectedly heated up, Carter Center supporters attending their annual retreat at the Lansdowne resort applauded with delight. Historian Jon Meacham, moderating the discussion, pressed Carter about his contention that a full investigation of the 2016 election would show that Trump “didn’t actually win.”

Meacham asked if Carter was saying Trump is “an illegitimate president.” Carter, who has generally — but not always — refrained from attacking Trump publicly, laughed and said, “Based on what I just said, which I can’t retract.”
After the event, Meacham called Carter’s comments “potentially historic.”

“Has a former president ever said that one of his successors was not a legitimate president?” he asked.
The two Democrat fossils decide to push the Democrat party's false narratives and smear Trump. How many former president's do this?
That is progressive

Angry Amy Klobuchar & Mayor Pete Buttigieg Pay Homage to the Virginia Democrat Party

All right, it is finally Saturday night and nothing could be more fun than listening to the progressive stars and POTUS candidates for the Democrat party Senator Amy Klobuchar and Mayor Pete Buttigieg. So put on some black face or your best 'she was asking for it' dress and lets have some fun at the Virginia Democrats Blue Commonwealth Gala.

I wonder if the media in attendance will mention the current governors blackface scandal, the lt. Governors sex scandal and Dem AG has a blackface scandal of his own ? None would step down because the fourth in line is a Republican.

Do you really think the GOP could get away with this ?

Well the Democrats' hypocrisy/double standards are on display again as Angry Amy and Progressive Pete visit Virginia.
