Barack Obama Defends Black Lives Matter

Barack Obama, the divider in chief, is a joker that can only play the race card. His career as a 'community organizer' was just practice for his future in identity politics. His two terms in office have been disastrous domestically and internationally but his divisiveness at home with Al Sharpton as his 'race ambassador' and the Dept. of Justice as his attack dogs that he unleashed on police departments across the country have harmed us all. Obama defends Black Lives Matter

President Obama on Thursday delivered a vigorous defense of the Black Lives Matter movement, which has been criticized by some for its exclusive focus on African-Americans and aggressive tactics. 

The president said Black Lives Matter activists are focusing on problems that exist only in black communities, such as routine police brutality, calling it a “legitimate issue that we’ve got to address.”

“The African-American community is not just making this up,” Obama said during a forum on criminal justice reform hosted by The Marshall Project. “It is real, and there is a history behind it and we have to take it seriously.” 

Obama pointed out that many critics were quick to blame the Black Lives Matter movement for fomenting anti-police sentiment. But he said it’s true purpose is to raise concerns about issues related to practices like stop-and-frisk and the use of excessive force.

Even Obama's DOJ concluded that 'hands up, don't shoot " was a lie that started in Ferguson but that didn't stop the leftist freaks in politics, entertainment and sports from pushing the false narrative about the 'gentle giant'.  The Michael Brown incident proved how invested this administration was in the race hustle and how far it would go to stoke the flames of black racism and hate.

Clinton slams Alabama’s ‘discriminatory’ voter law

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Saturday accused Alabama lawmakers of advancing “discriminatory” laws to roll back voting rights, as she looks to shore up support with black voters. 

In her first visit to Alabama as a presidential candidate, Clinton elevated her call for voting rights as she condemned the state’s decision last week to close 31 driver’s license offices. Nearly all of the offices were in predominantly black neighborhoods.

She urged Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley and his Republican-controlled legislature to keep the offices open, and “not just for one day a month."

“Here in Alabama, without the right kind of ID, it’s nearly impossible to vote,” she said as the packed room boomed with applause. 

“It’s hard to believe we are back having this same debate about whether every American gets a chance to vote,” she declared, raising her voice as the cheers grew louder. “This is a blast from the Jim Crow past.” 

Alabama’s decision to shutter driver’s license offices – which the governor said is a result of budget cuts – has drawn attention nationwide because of the state’s strict voter ID law passed last year. 

Democrats have claimed the decision is politically driven because each of the closures takes place in neighborhoods with populations that are at least 75 percent black.
Clinton described the law as "discriminatory and demeaning” – and one which should be repealed.

After examining the types of I.D. accepted to vote, the locations where an I.D. can be obtained even at no charge including your place of residence,  what is the only conclusion that I can reach?

Hillary Clinton has no problem telling outright lies and pandering to any crowd. AP Exclusive: Clinton server's software had hacking risk

WASHINGTON (AP) — The private email server running in Hillary Rodham Clinton's home basement when she was secretary of state was connected to the Internet in ways that made it more vulnerable to hackers, according to data and documents reviewed by The Associated Press. 

Clinton's server, which handled her personal and State Department correspondence, appeared to allow users to connect openly over the Internet to control it remotely, according to detailed records compiled in 2012. Experts said the Microsoft remote desktop service wasn't intended for such use without additional protective measures, and was the subject of U.S. government and industry warnings at the time over attacks from even low-skilled intruders. 

Records show that Clinton additionally operated two more devices on her home network in Chappaqua, New York, that also were directly accessible from the Internet. One contained similar remote-control software that also has suffered from security vulnerabilities, known as Virtual Network Computing, and the other appeared to be configured to run websites. 

The new details provide the first clues about how Clinton's computer, running Microsoft's server software, was set up and protected when she used it exclusively over four years as secretary of state for all work messages. Clinton's privately paid technology adviser, Bryan Pagliano, has declined to answer questions about his work from congressional investigators, citing the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination. 

Some emails on Clinton's server were later deemed top secret, and scores of others included confidential or sensitive information. Clinton has said that her server featured "numerous safeguards," but she has yet to explain how well her system was secured and whether, or how frequently, security updates were applied.

Minneapolis mother of 3 fire victims might not have been at home, police say

Police are investigating whether the mother of three children who died in a house fire Oct. 3 in North Minneapolis was at home when the fire broke out, as she told officials on the scene. 

Minneapolis police requested and received a warrant last week to collect the cellphone records of Taneisha Y. Stewart, 26, for the day of the fire. The records were collected as evidence of a potential crime, according to the text of the warrant, which was posted online by Minnesota Public Radio. 

Stewart's three children, ages 6, 5 and 23 months, were killed in the fire that was reported just before midnight Oct. 3. The cause of the fire has not been determined, but investigators said it appeared to have started near an oven that was being used to heat the home because the furnace's gas service hadn't been turned on. 

Stewart told investigators she was asleep on the first floor of the home when the fire started and ran outside to scream for help when she smelled smoke, according to police reports. Heat and smoke prevented her and neighbors from rescuing the children. 

Two of the children were found dead in a first-floor bedroom and the third, found on the second floor, died that night at a hospital. 

Fire investigators who spoke to Stewart at the scene said she did not smell of smoke and showed no signs of having been inside a burning building. She did, however, smell of alcohol.
Police Sgt. Sean McKenna wrote in his warrant request that he does not believe Stewart was in the Penn Avenue North home at the time of the fire. 

"The lack of a competent adult inside the home with three sleeping juveniles under the age of seven is a factor in the deaths of the children," McKenna wrote. 

Minneapolis police received the requested records from Sprint, according to the documents posted by MPR.

MN Individual Healthcare Premiums Increase Up to 49%

Obamacare, even though not fully implemented, is a failure by almost all measures. With high deductibles and skyrocketing premiums the insured still can't afford to use the health policies they were forced to buy.  While subsidies for many policies placated some 'customers', the working people in the state of Minnesota were in for another year of increasing premiums. Regulators approve premium jumps averaging as much as 49 percent for some in Minnesota

Much to the dismay of people who buy health insurance on their own, premiums for thousands in Minnesota’s individual market are going way up.
The state Commerce Department said Thursday that rates will increase an average of nearly 50 percent at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota — the largest insurer in the market — and anywhere from 14 percent to 39 percent on average at four other insurers in the state that sell the policies.

The jumps apply only to the state’s individual market, where about 6 percent of state residents, or 300,000 people, currently buy coverage.
Even so, the increases renewed a broader debate about the Affordable Care Act and the state’s MNsure exchange, as consumers started scrambling for ways to deal with the financial pain.
“I can’t take an additional $8,000 automatic increase in medical without doing something about it,” said Cindy Penning, 58, of Wilmont who currently buys individual coverage for her family of five.
Penning echoed the advice offered by state officials on Thursday by saying she would shop for a different insurance policy with more affordable premiums. She will also search out whether the family qualifies for tax credits through MNsure.
Kristi Nelson of Hastings said she will look for ways to handle next year’s increase, too, but said future spikes would prompt her to consider dropping coverage. “You can only afford what you can afford,” Nelson said.
Premium increases announced Thursday were justified by actuarial evidence showing that care costs are exceeding premium revenue, said Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman during a news conference near the Capitol. Rothman said insurers pointed to sicker, more costly patients in the individual market, plus rising prices for health care services.
Even so, the increases are “unacceptably high,” Rothman said, adding that he would push for regulatory changes to better spread costs in the future.
The insurance market for people under age 65 who don’t get health insurance from an employer is undergoing fundamental changes with the federal Affordable Care Act.
The health law eliminated pre-existing condition exclusions that insurance companies previously used to control costs in the individual market.
The law also created new online marketplaces like MNsure and extended tax credits to shoppers. It imposed tax penalties on people who lack coverage, and required public notice when health insurers seek rate increases of 10 percent or more.
‘Tied our hands’
This summer, all five companies in Minnesota’s individual market sought increases in excess of 10 percent, including a requested spike of more than 50 percent by Blue Cross. Rothman said his department negotiated slightly lower increases, but said the public nature of the proposals made things more difficult.
“When Blue Cross and Blue Shield filed higher rate increases in the mid-50 percent range, it made all the other insurers want to change and increase their rates, too,” Rothman said. “This effectively tied our hands, in some respects.”
In a statement, Blue Cross said the approved rates for 2016 could “mitigate the impact” of rising medical claims. But the insurer added: “Even with these increases, Blue Cross is likely to experience continued significant financial losses through 2016.”

SNL Premiere Basically a Hillary Clinton Campaign Ad

NBC and MSNBC have long slanted left politically and they do little to disguise it.  The liberal slant of their news and entertainment programming isn't that subtle yet their news programming raises questions on their journalistic responsibilities as a member of the 'fourth estate'. The Brian William's fiasco highlighted NBC 's lack of credibility in the news business but what about their entertainment side of the business?

The season premiere of NBC 's Saturday Night Live was just another example.  After appearing last Sunday on NBC 's  Meet the Press with Chuck Todd fielding mostly softball questions with little followup. the segment was designed to let Hillary Clinton address her criticisms and boost the shows sagging ratings, Hillary Clinton was given even more network time on SNL to rehabilitate her image and try to connect with the zero information Democratic voters.  An excerpt from The Daily Beast:

Miley Cyrus may have hosted the SNL Season 41 premiere, but the show was all about applauding Hillary Clinton—and not just when she appeared.

On Saturday night, Studio 8H was briefly remodeled into a pop-up Ready For Hillary campaign headquarters for the 41st season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

The guest of honor herself even showed up for a heavily teased set, one that was tailor-made to lampoon the two biggest critiques of her persona—that her presidential ambition can at times read as deranged entitlement and desperation, and that she lacks relatable charisma—all while not-so-slyly dropping campaign platform items disguised as jokes.

And how much does Clinton want to be president? That she’s willing to sing “Lean On Me” on national television in order to get it. (Give the inevitable Democratic nominee credit: She’s the only political candidate in the race right now embarrassing herself on purpose.)

The Democrats and their coalition were quick to criticize the Citizens United SCOTUS decision because more money in politics would actually help level the field since the MSM leans left by every measure.  The Democrats controlled the narrative on almost all of the nightly newscasts and their party message saturated prime time entertainment and even late night cable shows like The Daily Show, which starred secret Obama loyalist Jon Stewart. The campaign finance ruling held out hope for actual free speech in the United States. Free speech, which was squelched by the 'fourth estate' for decades.

The fact that Hillary Clinton's failed campaign in 2008 was the reason for the Citizens United SCOTUS decision is something to relish as we watch her downward slide in the polls and the desperation of her media allies and her campaign to stop the bleeding.  The following video made by Citizens Untied  and was quashed by the Hillary Campaign and the FEC.

WASHINGTON, June 29 (UPI) -- The U.S. Supreme Court said Monday it wants a case involving federal election law and an attack "documentary" on Hillary Clinton reheard next September. 

The justices said new argument should address two key Supreme Court precedents upholding federal election law and whether the high court should "overrule either or both." 

At stake in the case is a provision of a 2002 federal campaign law that bans "election communications" funded by corporations or unions close to an election. 

The justices heard argument earlier this term, with former U.S. Solicitor General Ted Olson representing the producers of "Hillary, the Movie." The film's backers wanted to make it available as an "on demand" movie on cable television during the 2008 race for the presidency.
But federal courts ruled the movie, financed partly with funds from unnamed corporations, violated the 2002 McCain-Feingold law. 

Deputy U.S. Solicitor General Malcolm Stewart, defending the law, suggested the Constitution not only allows the restriction of the "documentary" message when offered "on demand," but also on the Internet, on a DVD or in a book, even at a public library.

The media may fail to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for her lies and misdeeds but the Citizens United decision means that Hillary Clinton will have to answer for her shenanigans to the voter. A voter who may actually be exposed to information and narratives not tightly controlled by the Clinton political machine and aided by their allies in the press and network entertainment..

Gun-Control Propagandist Mark Kelly Calls for Nationwide Campaign

A 'mass shooting' by a deranged gunman in Oregon seeking publicity got the results he desired. Before the victim's bodies were room temperature,  the Obama administration and their coalition were quick to politicize the issue by calling for more gun control without mentioning the measures they propose would have had ZERO effect on the shooting in Oregon and elsewhere. 

A few days pass and the leftist coalition sends out their mindless drones to spew their disproven gun control  'facts' again.  Billionaire Bloomberg backed Mark Kelly, husband of Gabby Giffords has fully discredited himself on the issue of gun control, yet reappears again right on cue.

Media stunts and flat out lies are Mark Kelly's specialty. Remember this stunt ?

Gun store nixes Mark Kelly's AR-15 purchase

An Arizona gun store says it has canceled a recent purchase of an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle by Mark Kelly thwarting the retired astronaut's attempt to demonstrate how easy it is to buy high-powered weapons. 

Kelly, the husband of former Rep. Gabby Giffords and an outspoken advocate for new gun control measures, had in recent interviews said he was buying the rifle to showcase what he said are unobtrusive background checks 

Doug MacKinlay, owner of Diamondback Police Supply, said it was Kelly's statements that caused him to stop the sale. 

"I determined that it was in my company's best interest to terminate this transaction prior to his returning to my store to complete the Federal Form 4473 and NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) required of Mr. Kelly before he could take possession of this firearm," MacKinlay posted on the Tuscon store's Facebook page Monday. 

MacKinlay said he sent a full refund to Kelly and nixed the transaction because Kelly made statements in the media that the rifle purchase was "for reasons other then (sic) for his personal use." 

Kelly could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday

Mark Kelly calls for nationwide gun-control campaign 

Mark Kelly, the husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was seriously injured in a mass shooting, is calling on people across the country to pressure Congress for more gun control in the wake of a mass shooting in Oregon.

Kelly, who founded Americans for Responsible Solutions, a group in favor of tighter firearm restrictions, said 40 percent of guns are sold without background checks.

Mark Kelly also makes an appearance on Jake Tapper's State of the Union where the 'factoid' will remain unquestioned.


The 40 percent of guns sold without a background check LIE is back again.  When Barack Obama repeated that mythical stat, it earned him 3 Pinocchios from the left leaning Washington Post fact checker.

When Mark Kelly said it during his last media campaign it wasn't true either.  Yet, the professional liar and propagandist will be quoted again in the news and never questioned by a complicit media.  Here was Mark Kelly a few years ago telling the same lies...
