Bernie Sanders: The Candidate of Rich, White Progressives

NBC's Meet the Press highlighted the demographics of the average Bernie Sanders backer and it was predictable to say the least.. Would you guess that the progressive supporters of the far left populist Bernie Sanders are well off, white liberals with a college degree.  Bernie is a democratic socialist and that mainly  appeals to a demographic called the Liberal Elite.

Here is a breakdown from the NYTMES
Barack Obama won a razor-thin victory over Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primaries seven years ago in large part because black voters supported Mr. Obama by a 5-to-1 margin. Without their support, he would have lost, and lost big — probably by more than 20 points in the national popular vote.
As a result, many have framed Mr. Sanders’s challenge in racial terms. But his challenge in getting the support of nonwhite voters is not simply a problem of race. It’s primarily a problem with moderate and less educated Democrats, regardless of race, which disproportionately affects his support among nonwhite voters. His challenge among black voters may be no greater than his challenge among ideologically and demographically similar white voters.
Meet the Press had a more straight forward infographic in this video.

The Democrats have spent decades dividing the country by age, race, income, religion and sexual preference so how can they run a campaign in 2016 with only old, white, rich progressives as the only choice to lead the party?

Bernie Sanders' Wife Accounts for ALL His Reported Assets

Far left liberal, progressive and democratic socialist are all labels that apply to Bernie Sanders.  There are reasons why Bernie Sanders ran for office and some will even say it is because he is a public servant. Most people know better than that however

First from Politico:
Bernie Sanders' wife accounts for all his reported assets
Bernie Sanders on Thursday reported less than $750,000 in assets — all of it in his wife’s name — according to his presidential personal financial disclosure form.
The Vermont senator, mounting a liberal insurgent campaign against front-runner Hillary Clinton, also listed between $25,002-$65,000 in credit card debt on his Visa cards.
According to the disclosure, Sanders and his wife Jane reported between $194,026-$741,030 in assets, a broad combination of investment funds.
Continued:
Sanders, by contrast, has no listed assets on his entire financial disclosure form, save for a municipal pension — all the assets provided in the form are listed in his wife’s name. He reported no trusts or stock of any kind.
His two credit cards, issued through the Congressional and Senate credit unions, carry interest rates of 8.5 and 10.25 percent respectively.

Useless & Unemployable - Just like his supporters in Occupy
Bernie Sanders doesn't have any assets or is it a game of appearances for public or tax purposes ?   Why would he hide them under his wife's name or is he that bad with his finances? Do his high credit card balances also reflect poorly on his financial acumen ?

What would Bernie Sanders history tell us about him ? Now to an article at Frontpagemag.com :

BERNIE SANDERS LIVED OFFUNEMPLOYMENT, COULDN'T GET A NON-GOVERNMENT JOB
Bernie Sanders can only exist when being paid by taxpayers.
The Politico piece on Bernie Sanders is built around his weird personal life and who the mother of his kids is, but that's of less interest and less surprise when dealing with leftists back then. Equally unsurprising and telling, Bernie Sanders was unemployable outside politics and seems to have financed everything with dubiously obtained unemployment checks.
We're told that "He read Marx, Lenin and Trotsky." Like them, he wasn't big on working. Marx lived off Engels. Sanders lived off Uncle Sam.

"That summer, not quite 23, he and his wife, Deborah Sanders, bought for $2,500 some property in Vermont, near Montpelier in the town of Middlesex off Shady Rill Road, according to property records."
Where did the money come from?

"He explained the origin of the money Sanders used to buy the Middlesex land and the carpentry he did on the sugar shack. He said Sanders received unemployment, “for a few months,” in 1971, though Sanders can’t remember what the job was that qualified him for the benefits."
But living off unemployment was the Sanders way.

“The electricity was turned off a lot,” Barnett said. “I remember him running an extension cord down to the basement. He couldn’t pay his bills.”
He worked some as a carpenter, although “he was a shitty carpenter,” Bloch told me. “His carpentry,” Morrisseau said, “was not going to support him, and didn’t.”...
“He was always poor,” Sandy Baird, another old friend, told me in Burlington.
“Virtually unemployed,” said Nelson, the political science professor at the University of Vermont.
“Just one step above hand to mouth,” said Terry Bouricius, who was involved with Liberty Union, served at times as a de facto campaign manager for Sanders and at one point crashed for a couple months on his couch.
Liberty Union “people found it difficult to support themselves while engaging in full-time political work,” Michael Parenti, one of those people, wrote in the Massachusetts Review in the summer of 1975. “Some held jobs that allowed free time for campaign activities, while others lived off unemployment insurance.”
Sanders, according to an article in 1974 in the Bennington Banner, was one of them. He was on unemployment for a few months in 1971. In subsequent Liberty Union campaigns he advocated for “the doing away with all time limitations for unemployment benefits.”
Bernie Sanders, just another unemployable populist political hack that fooled a lot of the people, a lot of the time.  His lack of real experience and support from the extreme left makes him a contender for the Democratic nomination in 2016. Welcome to Muriburiland.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders - Useful Idiots, Unicorns & Utopia

The left wing in America is represented by a variety of populists that each hate America and the Republic for which it stands.  Bernie Sanders is an openly socialist 'Independent' Senator from Vermont.  Bernie caucuses with the Democrats and is pretending to run for President and to oppose  Hillary Clinton, the progressive disciple of Saul Alinsky., in the primaries.  What are some things we should know about Bernie Sanders ? Here is a list from the leftist outfit, MSNBC.

The 25 best things we learned from Bernie Sanders’ book
Sen. Bernie Sanders’ political memoir, published by the radical left-wing Verso Books in 1997, has been out of print for several years. It’s shot up in value on used book sites since Sanders announced his presidential campaign, with some sellers asking over$400 for an “extremely rare” paperback copy (it’s available for $65 on Amazon).
The 2 items from the list that should really stand out......

Bernie Sanders doesn't love America or the Constitution and actually detests the Republic.  In fact, he thinks we should be socialist and communist, like Europe. America is not a democracy. In fact, the word democracy doesn't appear in the Constitution.  But that doesn't stop this socialist democrat  from trying to destroy this country in the name of 'utopia' and pushing their populist, progressive pablum. Democrats are nothing more than useful idiots,

Leftists Protest Vermont Scrapping 'Medicare for All' Single-Payer Healthcare

The coalition protests the Governor interrupting plans for a complete takeover of healthcare by the government in their state of Vermont. Single-payer means 'Medicare For All'  First some background on the recent changing of his mind about single payer....

Why single payer died in Vermont

Vermont was supposed to be the beacon for a single-payer health care system in America. But now its plans are in ruins, and its onetime champion Gov. Peter Shumlin may have set back the cause.

Advocates of a “Medicare for all” approach were largely sidelined during the national Obamacare debate. The health law left a private insurance system in place and didn’t even include a weaker “public option” government plan to run alongside more traditional commercial ones.

So single-payer advocates looked instead to make a breakthrough in the states. Bills have been introduced from Hawaii to New York; former Medicare chief Don Berwick made it a key plank of his unsuccessful primary race for Massachusetts governor.

Vermont under Shumlin became the most visible trailblazer. Until Wednesday, when the governor admitted what critics had said all along: He couldn’t pay for it.

“It is not the right time for Vermont” to pass a single-payer system, Shumlin acknowledged in a public statement ending his signature initiative. He concluded the 11.5 percent payroll assessments on businesses and sliding premiums up to 9.5 percent of individuals’ income “might hurt our economy.”

Vermont’s outcome is a “small speed bump,” said New York Assembly member Richard Gottfried, who’s been pushing single-payer bills for more than 20 years. But opponents says it’s the end of the road.

“If cobalt blue Vermont couldn’t find a way to make single-payer happen, then it’s very unlikely that any other state will,” said Jack Mozloom, spokesman for the National Federation of Independent Business.

“There will never be a good time for a massive tax increase on employers and consumers in Vermont, so they should abandon that silly idea now and get serious,” Mozloom added.
Single Payer Healthcare Protesters target the Gov. of Vermont

The sense of betrayal from single-payers’ most passionate advocates after Shumlin’s announcement was palpable, particularly as he had tied his own political persona to the idea. “It is time to put the interests of patients first, ahead of political expedience,” said Andrew Coates, president of Physicians for a National Health Care Program. Single-payer is “the only reform that will cover everyone, save lives and save money. Mr. Shumlin, of all our nation’s governors, knows this well.”

Betrayal is a form of Grubered. The coalition of leftist activists protest the inauguration of the new Governor. The following video shows the usual tactics of the left. Occupation, and obstruction are methods promoted by the SEIU, the chants are because leftism is a cult.

Obamacare was based on deception and lies.

And your STUPIDITY and your......

Gruber wasn't really involved with Obamacare?

Obama knew the whole time that MILLIONS would lose their healthcare because of Obamacare.

Then again, Obamacare is just a means to and end, single payer... by any means necessary.
