YouTube Removes Clip of Rand Paul Speaking on Senate Floor, Citing Concern He Named Ukraine Whistleblower

YouTube removed a clip of Senator Rand Paul (R., Ky.) speaking on the Senate floor, in which he asked why Chief Justice John Roberts had blocked a question of his, which some have speculated contained the name of the Ukraine whistleblower. 

Paul told Politico Playbook that the tech platform’s decision was “dangerous and politically biased,” and denied knowing who the whistleblower was. “Nowhere in my speech did I accuse anyone of being a whistleblower,” he stated. 

“It is a chilling and disturbing day in America when giant web companies such as YouTube decide to [censor] speech. Now, even protected speech, such as that of a senator on the Senate floor, can be blocked from getting to the American people,” Paul added. 

YouTube told Politico that the decision was part of a larger effort to purge the name from the platform, and said that the company had already deleted “hundreds of videos and over ten thousand comments that contained the name.”

Would the American public have been shocked to find out that the Nobel Peace Prize winner and first ' black' POTUS Barack Obama was busy backing Neo Nazis in Ukraine to overthrow that government ? Would the American Public frown upon Joe Biden, the point man for the coup enriching his son with a seat on the board of the largest energy company Burisma that same year ? Would they be reelected in the fall if this was national news ?

Only Manafort fell victim to corruption investigations in Ukraine predating the coup. Democrats like Tony Podesta or Obama White House counsel Greg Craig go unpunished.

The DNC working with Ukraine to sabotageTrump in 2016 will be ignored by the leftist legacy media.

Investigation of anything Ukraine related is a pandora's box that not only ruins Biden's chance for ever holding public office again.  More importantly to the Democrats and their media allies it  tarnishes the legacy of Barack Obama.

American 'RT' Anchor Quits in Protest of Network's Putin Coverage

A Washington-based anchor for the Kremlin-backed RT news channel announced her resignation on-air Wednesday, saying she "could not be part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashed the actions of Putin."

"I'm proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth," Liz Wahl, an anchor in RT's D.C. bureau, told viewers, after explaining how her parents had fled Soviet persecution during the Hungarian revolution. "That is why after this newscast, I'm resigning."

Wahl's public resignation came two days after another anchor Abby Martin, condemned the military intervention during her own broadcast.

"What Russia did is wrong," Martin said on Monday. "Military intervention is never the answer, and I will not sit here and apologize or defend military aggression."

In the wake of Martin's remarks, RT (formerly Russia Today) released a statement saying that all RT journalists are "free to express their own opinions, not just in private but on the air" and that "there will be absolutely no reprimands made against Ms. Martin."

However, RT also announced that Martin would be sent to Crimea, the site of the Russian invasion: "In her comment Ms. Martin also noted that she does not possess a deep knowledge of reality of the situation in Crimea," an RT spokesperson said. "As such we'll be sending her to Crimea to give her an opportunity to make up her own mind from the epicentre of the story."

Martin later said she would not be going to Crimea, "despite the statement RT has made."

Martin will appear on CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" on Wednesday night.
