A 'smattering' of protesters were outside the Republican National Committee offices on Capitol Hill where Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan were meeting . The Associated Press reported.....
A few of those gathered used signs or banners and a few more chose props. A look at a couple of them.....
The Paul Ryan is Lyin' MEME is fairly well orchestrated. it caught my attention around Aug 17 at Talking Points Memo and noticed @msnbc seemed eager to push the MEME during the coverage of the RNC 2012. I posted a Paul Ryan video on youtube recently about Simpson-Bowles and that is the only talking point they have. Paul Ryan Lies.
The MEME got started with THEIR leftist lies and laughable 'fact checks'. Now if they could only find a statement made by Paul Ryan to find false after their other 'fact checks' are quickly dis-proven.
It appears we are down to a marathon run decades ago and a dispute on the time he ran it. He admitted the error. Without sources, the word marathon may be plural to add to the (following) "letter writer's" outrage. Yes, all of these hard hitting fact checks on Paul Ryan. Strawmen, red herring and all the propaganda techniques the leftists can muster. Yes, the indisputable proof that Ryan is a serial liar. Surely that will make me forget that Obama's mentor for half of his childhood was the COMMUNIST Frank Marshall Davis? It might even make me not want to ask about Obama's associates like Rezko, Nayak, or Jessie Jackson Jr.
Yes, this serial lie by Paul Ryan and his marathon time should make him ineligible for office.
The Obama Administration and supporters are living in an alternate universe aided by a complicit media. Clint Eastwood is right when he said Obama was the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people . Yes, that even includes the following letter writer, William Smith of Baltimore

As I expected, the right wing is desperately trying to spin Rep. Paul Ryan's
lies into something other than what they are by splitting hairs and
implying that what he says isn't what he really means ("Romney and the
GOP construct an alternate reality," Sept. 5). But unfortunately for the
conservative crowd, Mr. Ryan continues to spew his bald-faced lies
faster than they can spin them into fairy dust.
Just this past
weekend, while the right-wingers were trying desperately to come up with
an angle that would make Mr. Ryan's lies about the GM plant in his
hometown sound less untrue, Mr. Ryan let this whopper slip out: when
asked about his claims regarding the excellent shape he's in, he told an
interviewer "I had a two-hour and fifty-something" marathon. "I hurt a
disc in my back, so I don't run marathons anymore."
Quite impressive! That would put Mr. Ryan in league with some great athletes — like Lance Armstrong back when he was juicin'.
However, when the fact checkers looked into his claims, it turns out
that Mr. Ryan actually only ran one marathon in his life, not the
"marathons" that he claimed, and his time wasn't under three hours, it
was over four hours. Quite a difference!
I'm sure the right-wingers are
busy trying to turn Mr. Ryan's latest lie into something else, but the
fact is Paul Ryan plays fast and loose with the truth about everything,
all the time.
It illustrates the man's character, or lack thereof.
Paul Ryan doesn't feel bound by the truth when making speeches, giving
interviews or anything else for that matter. His list of lies goes on
and on, and it shows a man who will say, or do, anything in order to get
elected.
Is this a man we can trust to be a heartbeat away from the presidency? Not in my book. I wouldn't trust him to be dogcatcher.
William Smith, Baltimore
Is the voter really going to think Paul Ryan is another LYING Joe Biden?
Scott Walker smacks-down the propagandists @msnbc
If you dont have a record to run on........... Barack Obama circa 2008
"Paul Ryan, repeating a line from his stump speech, slammed President
Obama for failing to rescue an auto plant he visited in Wisconsin in
2008:
A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant.
Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: “I believe that if our
government is there to support you … this plant will be here for another
hundred years.” That’s what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out,
that plant didn’t last another year. It is locked up and empty to this
day. And that’s how it is in so many towns today, where the recovery
that was promised is nowhere in sight.
Only problem -- the plant closed in 2008. As in, under President George W. Bush"
In October 2008, GM announced Janesville Assembly would be largely idled December 23, 2008 when production of SUVs would end.[10]
A skeleton crew continued to work at Janesville Assembly through June,
2009, completing the Janesville/Isuzu light truck contract.
2010
On January 13, 2010 GM put Janesville Assembly on stand-by to produce
new vehicles due to recent increase in demand for GM vehicles
Wait, there is more:
"Wisconsin provided GM with $10 million in grants in 2004 to help with a
$175 million plant overhaul. The deal required GM to keep 3,330 workers
at the plant through 2010, but the payroll has been shrinking, going
from 4,100 in 2003 to about 1,600 as of last month" GM Speeds Up Janesville Plant Closing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Obama did speak at the Janesville plant in February 2008, and
suggested a government partnership with automakers could keep the plant
open, but made no promises as Ryan suggested?
"I believe if our
government is there to support you, and give you the assistance you need
to re-tool and make this transition, that this plant will be here for
another hundred years," Obama said.
"Reports that the GM plant I visited in
Janesville may shut down sooner than expected are a painful reminder of
the tough economic times facing working families across this country.
This news is also a reminder that Washington needs to finally live up to
its promise to help our automakers compete in our global economy. As
president, I will lead an effort to retool plants like the GM facility
in Janesville so we can build the fuel-efficient cars of tomorrow and
create good-paying jobs in Wisconsin and all across America." Barack Obama Thrice Mentioned Janesville GM Plant In 2008
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, that's right, they couldn't officially close the plant, and not in December of 2008. So YES, Obama could have helped the factory. Remember the Auto Bailout? TPM, MSNBC and all the hosts owe Paul Ryan an apology and should resign. Obama's Speech in Janesville, Wisconsin
