Dartmouth College faculty supports professor's comments justifying AntiFa violence

Mark Bray hit the media circuit after the legacy media lionized AntiFa and berated Donald Trump for condemning violence on both sides after the predictable anarchy at the Charlottesville, VA 'rally'  that ended with tragic consequences and produced a martyr. just like Maidan in Kiev  Violence against the 'alt-right' and everyone they disagree with has long been the acceptable norm for the Democrats and the 'progressives'. Normalizing violence against Trump supporters was easily accomplished with the help of the legacy media. AntiFa is a collective of violent leftists using black bloc tactics to further their agenda by 'any means necessary'.  AntiFa's "preemptive self-defense doctrine" means you the left gets to brutalize and terrorize people that disagree with them....

 While Fox News reported on Bray's Meet the Pres comments, his appearance on CSPAN caught my attention and the "preemptive self-defense" phrase has stuck with me. Excerpt of the article and his appearance on CSPAN follows . ....

More than 100 Dartmouth College faculty members rushed to support a controversial fellow professor who repeatedly justified Antifa's violent tactics -- despite the Dartmouth president's condemnation of the professor's support for the so-called anti-fascist group. 

Mark Bray, the author of "Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook" and visiting professor at the Gender Research Institute at Dartmouth, appeared in dozens of television interviews after the Antifa movement gained national traction following deadly clashes in Charlottesville, Va. earlier in August. 

Bray supported Antifa's violence, dubbing it "self-defense" and a "legitimate response" to what he termed white supremacist and neo-Nazi violence "I think that a lot of people recognize that, when pushed, self-defense is a legitimate response to white supremacy and neo-Nazi violence," Bray said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Aug. 20.

"The lesson of history is you need to take it with the utmost seriousness before it’s too late," Bray continued, adding that demonstrations are necessary to tell neo-Nazis and white supremacists "You can't make this normal."

A day after the controversial interview, Dartmouth President Philip Hanlon, troubled by Bray's support of the violent Antifa protests, condemned the professor's comments, Valley News reported.

"As an institution, we condemn anything but civil discourse in the exchange of opinions and ideas," Hanlon said on Aug. 21. "Dartmouth embraces free speech and open inquiry in all matters, and all on our campus enjoy the freedom to speak, write, listen and debate in pursuit of better learning and understanding; however, the endorsement of violence in any form is contrary to Dartmouth values." 

Bray and more than 100 university faculty members took issue with Hanlon's condemnation and accused him of limiting free speech, Valley News reported.....

A few politicians as well as a few members of the pres have finally called out AntiFa for their premeditated violence, but how long until the Democrats, establishment Republicans and the media apologize for aiding and abetting AntiFa's reign of terror in their campaign to delegitimize the Trump presidency. Even today, Dartmouth backs their professors speech rights which are a call to terrorize their fellow Americans to SILENCE them .

Obama, Steph Curry star in PSA on mentoring

President Obama appeared Saturday in a public service announcement with National Basketball Association MVP Steph Curry to highlight the importance of mentoring young children in their communities. 

The PSA aired on NBA Countdown on ABC and is available on the White House’s homepage. 

Curry’s Golden State Warriors celebrated a record-setting 73rd season win this week and are the favorites to repeat for the NBA title. 

In January, MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership launched the “In Real Life” campaign as a response to Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative, a call to action to address opportunity gaps facing young boys and men of color, according to White House officials. 

Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative has brought in celebrities including Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Common and Janelle Monae to discuss criminal justice reform in the U.S.
Administration sources say Obama’s initiative coordinates investments between businesses, foundations and community groups to create support programs that keep young people out of the criminal justice system and improve access to high education. 

Obama launched the program in 2014.

Ready ?  Why no mention of Barack Obama's mentor Frank Marshall Davis ? If mentors are so important, why is Barack Obama erasing this fact from his history ?  Why would the media still cover for the fact that Barack Obama's mentor was a card carrying communist ? Not even an honorable mention?

 We can pretend that the Democratic party hasn't moved very far left and the party and media will refuse to admit that the current president's influences included Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis. Let us now  pretend that Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clintoton aren't just old, white faces on the new red left?
