If last year is 2017 but the Democrats under Majority Leader Harry Reid used the 'NUCLEAR OPTION' to destroy the filibuster in 2013
The Democrats were warned not to change to rules to undermine the power of the current minority but they chose to destroy the Senate and the judicial nomination process instead.
