In Latest Embarrassment, House Dems Display Incorrect Confederate Flag

The Democratic party is always eager to pretend to fight racism wherever they can create it.  The latest episode of monumental stupidity shows that the party of the left and their beacon of justice and liberty is powered by a bunch of rather dim bulbs.

House Dems display incorrect Confederate flag

House Democrats referenced the wrong Confederate flag Thursday during a debate over the controversial symbol. 

A photo from floor debates shows a Confederate flag with 17 stars, according to a post on CSPAN’s Instagram account. 

The actual Confederate battle flag had 13 stars, one for each of the states that seceded from the Union before joining the Confederacy as of late 1861. 

CSPAN’s photo shows a number of House Democrats speaking by a cutout of the incorrect version on Thursday morning. 

Reps. James Clyburn (S.C.), Al Green (Texas), Keith Ellison (Minn.), David Cicilline (R.I.), Eric Swalwell (Calif.), Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.), Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas) and Terri Sewell (Ala.) all missed the apparent mistake. 

House GOP leaders abruptly canceled a vote Thursday on a spending bill for the Interior Department amid intraparty infighting over displays of the Confederate flag. 

The proposed legislation was shelved after the House moved to vote on an amendment to a measure that would continue allowing the display of the controversial symbol in certain federal cemeteries.

The Democratic party and the opportunists that inhabit its ranks in office and their coalition of astroturf activists know no shame as they peddle distortion after distortion and lie after lie,. from Ferguson to Charlotte.

Ferguson was an embarrassing lie for the Democrats, from Obama on down.....

Stephen King: The Horror of Left Wing Stupidity

Liberals generally aren't that bright.  While their parroting skills are usually above average, once released into the wild their true colors are revealed.  For instance, the shooting in Charleston has the overrated author Stephen King taking to twitter with this:

The Confederate flag flying over a state capital is disgusting, but it's a sidetrack. The real problem comes with a 30-shot clip.

Glaring omissions of reason and facts NEVER stop a leftist from squawking about the latest news events.  When it comes to populism and zero information voters, the birds of a feather do flock together in the Democrat party.

Did I mention the flag isn't flown over the Capitol ?

It was also reported that the shooter reloaded his handgun FIVE times. to kill 9 people.

Initial reports also said the shooter received the gun as a gift and others have reported the gunman bought the gun himself and passed the background check even though he had a felony on his record.  Blaming inanimate objects such as flags and guns were the predictable response from the Democrats......
